On this jam packed episode of Subhan I am joined by emerging Ottawa artist Phantom Caine. He stopped by the studio fresh off of his opening performance for Jazz Cartier, to discuss what he has been up to in the past year and his goal of dropping a new track weekly for the next 52 weeks.
This marks the first time I have had a repeat guest on the show, as this was the case not only did me and the homie catch up, but we also discuss the importance of personal growth, aesthetic representation, experimentation and how this & more are all intrinsic in the development of ones art. During the interview, we also touch on his controversial claim that popular rapper 6ixnine ( interview recorded before his incarceration) was influenced by his single "Drip Drop" and used it on his new project Dummy Boy.
