Fall is finally here and Subhan returns after another 2 weeks with an episode full of heaters to keep you warm !!  

 

On this episode I am joined by one of the waviest artist's out right now and proud RBL.x member SVDVM !! The valley native stopped by to chop it up w/ me about his come-up & his latest project, PrettyBoyGangsta.   

PrettyBoyGangsta is SV's latest release fresh off his collective's , RBL.x , collaborative tape Boy Band. During our interview he divulges that his solo project came to fruition while working on this group effort. PBG is the artist's first full length project, fully of catchy bangers, knocking production & unique cadence's. Some of my fave tracks include "Dirt on My Name" , "Pop Dat" feat Jahriia, "PBG", & "Purple Jean" feat. SV and I not only discuss his latest release but we go into his musical origins. The importance of his music being a reflection of his lifestyle. Reinforcing the notion of artist's being true to themselves rather than chasing a trend. We talk about how he garnered this confidence both on the stage & on wax. SV defines this as him going into his PBG vibe, as naturally he is actually pretty shy. This inner mood that he tap's into allows him to establish an insane stage presence and create a genuine connection with the audience resulting in a live show that is pure madness. 

From there we talk about our mutual love for soccer and the role it played in both of our lives growing up. We debate Chelsea vs. Arsenal, his collective RBL.x, our mutual love for Kanye, his favourite brands and much more. Be sure to listen to the interview in it's full glory below !!
